Welcome to Dog Mom Days!
Hi everyone! My name is Amanda and I am a Millennial dog mom and pet blogger! I started blogging in 2013 and have been a full time pet blogger since Fall 2014. Through a lot of hard work and persistence I was nominated for the 2015 BlogPaws Best New Pet Blog, named a 2016 BlogPaws ambassador, was featured on the local news, was published in a magazine and in three newspapers. I was also a speaker at the 2016 BlogPaws pet blogging conference in Phoenix, AZ!
I am the mom to six amazing rescue animals. Joey, Sadie, Wynston, Khloee, McKenzie Rae and Leila. Animals are truly my life and I dedicate myself to giving them a voice. I’ve been involved in animal rescue for nine years.
I have an affinity for helping new bloggers get started. When I created Dog Mom Days I had no idea what I was doing. With help from the BlogPaws community, I learned very quickly (and I fully admit that I’m still learning everyday)! Despite a few skeptical opinions on my new love for blogging when I started in 2013, I was able to branch out and make a career out of pet blogging by the end of 2014. I believe that anyone can blog and be successful at it if they have the right tools, work ethic and enthusiasm! My dedication has gotten me to major events such as the Purina Better With Pets Summit in NYC, Purina Incredible Dog Challenge and BlogPaws 2015/16.
