As Wynston gets older, I worry more and more about his health. Although he’s only turning 5 years old this year, I want to be proactive so he can live the longest, healthiest life possible. So much of a dog’s wellness relies on the food they eat. Lucky for us, grain free diets have become increasingly popular and available at affordable prices. As pet parents, we want what’s very best for our pets, especially as they head into their senior years. With that being said, Wellness® has reinvented their Complete Health™ dog food and it’s now grain free! It’s time to revisit the brand and see how they’ve improved their Complete Health™ line.
Review of the Wild Horse Pass Interpretive Trail
In my quest to discover trails and hikes in Arizona that I can rate as “easy,” I decided to check out the Wild Horse Pass Interpretive Trail with Wynston and my mom. At only 2.5 miles round trip, I thought this mostly flat, dirt trail could be perfect for my bad hip and small dog. It’s a great length and it’s not strenuous. I’d rate the trail as “easy” but I’d also rate it as “mediocre.”

Add Flavor to Your Dog’s Life with Pet Qwerks Flavorit Dog Chews!
Wynston likes to chew. Khloee really likes to chew. McKenzie Rae LOVES to chew, and let me tell you, those Kenzie teeth are always at work. I would definitely consider McKenzie Rae to be an “aggressive chewer.” Luckily she hasn’t destroyed anything valuable in our home yet because I always keep her busy. The Pet Qwerks Flavorit™ chews have given me another option to keep Kenzie from annihilating our house. I know there are several stuffable dog chews and toys on the market. They allow you to add peanut butter, cheese or another favorite treat. Flavorits make the entire process a bit easier and quicker. Instead of having to stuff peanut butter into a toy and make sure it’s filled enough, now I can just spread it!
Our Visit to the Pine Trailhead: Highline Trail via the Arizona Trail
I’m not in the best shape. Looking at me, you may think otherwise, but I’m definitely out of shape. Let’s just say I need to do more cardio, but right now I’m limited due to some issues with my right hip. Anyways, I’ve been telling Matt that I want to spend more time exploring our beautiful state because nature bring us both so much serenity. After asking some of my friends for suggestions, Matt and I took the three dogs to the Pine Trailhead in Pine, AZ. It was easy, quick and perfect.
I Misplaced My Motivation
Lately my dog mom life has been….um, what’s a good word for it…oh yeah, challenging. That’s a good word for it. Challenging. I’ve been tired, emotional and lacking motivation. I know I put my motivation around here somewhere, right?! Right??? *Taps the microphone* Is this thing on?
