I’ve been using a dog stroller since 2013. Wynston and I started attending events regularly that year, and I found the need for a stroller. I figured it would keep Wynston from getting stepped on by humans and bigger dogs, and I’d have a place to put all of my stuff wherever we were at. In September 2013 I bought a BestPet stroller from Amazon for $50. It was the best dog mom investment ever. I used that stroller for four years until I massively upgraded in December 2017. Now after working in the pet industry for five years and becoming well versed in a variety of pet products, I can recommend a plethora of pet strollers. In this list you’ll find strollers for any sort of pet in a wide price range. Next in my dog mom recommendations series – the best dog strollers for any size dog and budget. Affiliate links are present in this post, but I only share products that I trust and believe in!
The Best Dog Strollers for Any Size Dog and Budget
BestPet Stroller – $50
This BestPet stroller was the first I ever owned. I spent a whopping $50 on it, and I didn’t do much research. I just knew I liked the four wheels, cup holders and basket. Despite my lack of shopping around, that $50 investment turned out to be perfect. I used that stroller for four years. It got us through countless events, adventures and Wynston’s broken foot fiasco. If you’re on a budget and you’re looking for something reliable I would absolutely recommend the BestPet stroller.

- Budget
- Reliability

Gen7Pets Jogger Stroller – $180
Our current pet stroller is the Gen7Pets Jogger Stroller. I learned about Gen7Pets products last year when I was in the market for a new airplane carrier for Wynston. It was during that time which I discovered the Gen7Pets strollers, and I asked my mom for one for Christmas. I figured it was time to upgrade. Although the $180 price tag may seem steep, it’s completely worth it. You absolutely get what you pay for. I enjoy the shock absorbency and high quality materials. It acts more like a child stroller rather than a pet stroller. The stroller is collapsible with one hand, and the storage basket is large and zips shut. The Gen7Pets Jogger Stroller offers plenty of viewing space for your dog even when the hood is closed completely. There is also a safety tether to attach your dogs harness inside the stroller.
Good choice for:
- High quality
- Outdoors
- Jogging or going on more rough terrain like rocks and grass
- Reliability
- Pets up to 75lbs
- Sturdy, smooth ride
- Overall ease of use

Pet Gear No-Zip Stroller – $250

There is a no-zip entry, as well as dual entry which is perfect for older or injured dogs. The push handle can be adjusted to fit your needs and the stroller offers plenty of interior space for your large (or multiple) dogs.

Gen7Pets Regal Plus Pet Stroller – $98
I’m obviously a big fan of Gen7Pets’ high quality products, so next on our list is a less expensive stroller – the Gen7Pets Regal Plus Pet Stroller. You still get all of the convenience of the jogger stroller, as well as the attractive look and safety features. The main difference here is that the jogger stroller can be used for running or on tougher terrains, while the Regal is a better fit for strolling in the park. The Regal does include smart-zip technology, so the zippers never need to be threaded.
Good choice for:
- High quality
- Reliability
- Pets up to 25lbs
- Sturdy
- Overall ease of use

Paws & Pals 3 Wheeler Elite Jogger Pet Stroller – only $35!
Paws & Pals offers more budget-friendly stroller options. I like the Elite Jogger because the 3-wheel design makes it look really nice! I also like the plaid blue fabric. It happens to be the #1 pet stroller on Amazon, and I can understand why! This stroller offers all of the basics you need for a great price. It has a storage basket, cup holders, a leash clip, easy folding capabilities and a removable mesh screen. The maximum weight for the Paws & Pals 3 Wheeler Elite Jogger Pet Stroller is 33lbs.

The Gen7Pets Premium Monaco Stroller is truly a premium product. For pets up to 60lbs, this stroller offers a feature that no other preferred stroller does – a removable basket. The Monaco pet stroller combines convenience with luxury and quality. Like other Gen7Pets strollers, this one offers smart-fold and a smart-zipper canopy, as well as other ‘smart’ features. What makes the Monaco unique is the removable smart-basket and stylish oval frame.

Pet Gear No-Zip Double Pet Stroller – $325
Although this stroller is the most expensive on our list, you will get what you pay for. Pet Gear is a reliable brand and as the name of the stroller states, you can fit multiple pets inside it. The Pet Gear double pet stroller holds up to 90lbs and is made of water-resistant material. It offers no-zip entry with easy lock technology. There are two leash clips inside for two pets. The air tires allow for a smooth ride on rougher terrain. Of course you get a handy storage basket with this stroller, but it doesn’t don any cup holders. The Pet Gear No-Zip Double Pet Stroller is a wonderful choice for multiple dogs, large dogs and outdoor use.
Good choice for:
- Outdoors
- Pets up to 90lbs
- Water-resistance
- Safety
- Sturdy, smooth ride
- Overall ease of use
- No-zip technology
Dog strollers can be necessary tools for small dogs, senior dogs, injured dog or dogs with other health or physical ailments. Typically I get positive feedback about having Wynston in a stroller, but every now and then I’ll receive an eye roll. Oh well. I’m NOT sorry that I enjoy keeping Wynston safe and comfortable. Not to mention the fact that I needed the stroller when my boy broke his foot. He was in a large cast for 11 weeks! So if you’re a dog mom or dad and you rock a pet stroller, more power to you! And if you were on the fence about which stroller to buy, I hope this list of the best dog strollers helped you out 🙂
