As a dog mom, I’m always looking for dog friendly stores and restaurants that I can frequent with Wynston. Every time I take him to a drive-thru the employees typically greet me by saying,”Oh my God, your dog is sooooo cute!” as they hand me a dog treat. Let’s be honest – nothing makes me happier than when companies treat my babies extremely well. In honor of my great experiences, here are some fantastic dog friendly drive-thrus for dog moms!
Dog-Friendly Drive Thrus for Dog Moms
In & Out Burger: In & Out Burger offers a plain beef patty that you can order for your dogs! It’s just a regular hamburger patty, and they give it to you in a separate container. The patty is too big for my dogs to even split since they are small, but I am very pleased that they offer this option. In & Out Burger also has a dog friendly patio if you feel like dining in! The cost for the beef patty was between $1-2. Just ask for a “pup patty!”
Dairy Queen: What dog doesn’t love ice cream and what human doesn’t love Dairy Queen?! Next time you’re in the drive-thru, ask for a pup cup! It’s a small cup filled with vanilla soft serve ice cream for your dog – and it’s free!
Dunkin’ Donuts: The Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru is extremely dog friendly! They always give me some variety of treat for Wynston. If you want to dine in, they also have a pet friendly patio at many locations.
Chase Bank: Bet you didn’t see this one coming! Chase is a dog-welcoming bank. They allow dogs inside, and they also have treats for your dog if you prefer to bank in the drive-thru. I happen to be very familiar with their policies, as I bank with Chase and I use to work for them as well. The best part of my job was seeing new dogs (and familiar ones) come in all the time! I even kept treats in my office…
Starbucks: The Starbucks drive-thru is famous for their Puppuccino, which is simply a small cup filled with whipped cream! My dogs go crazy for these and it’s a tasty treat for any time of the year! Starbucks also has a dog friendly patio at a majority of their locations.
D’Lite Scottsdale: This “healthy on the go” restaurant offers healthy fast food including a plethora of hot coffees, teas and breakfast all day! The best part? D’lite offers a “doggie bag” on their menu! It consists of all natural turkey and basmati rice. The price is only $1.50! Head to this delicious drive thru so you can treat yourself and your pup to a healthy snack.
Sonic Drive In: Sonic is great because they have a dog friendly patio, but you can also eat in your car at the restaurant! This is a great option if you want to take your dog out and prefer to stay in the car. But just a warning…you may have to share a bite with your pooch!
Salad & Go: You can eat on the patio at most Salad & Go locations, and they give treats in the drive thru!
Culver’s: Not only does Culver’s have the best ice cream ever, but they also offer dog treats at the drive thru window! These treats are Wynston’s favorite.
Chick-fil-A: Much like a Starbucks Puppuccino, Chick-fil-A will give your dog a little cup filled with whipped cream in the drive thru! It was a pleasant surprise when Wynston was offered his very first one.
Have you ever taken your dog to these pet friendly places?! What dog friendly restaurants or stores do you frequent?
