Did you know that an estimated 9,000 very adoptable animals are killed in shelters everyday? Instinct is running a campaign to raise awareness to show how lovable and amazing shelter animals truly are! And YOUR rescue pet can be a part of it!
Instinct is making a film to showcase how loving, fun and happy rescue dogs can be! You can upload pictures of your pet at longlivepets.com for a chance to have your pet’s photo included in the video! How cool is that?!
Long Live Pets is a fantastic no-kill movement. Instinct is partnering with the Best Friends Animal Society to put together a video which reflects upon the first day of an animal’s rescue from a shelter. It’s definitely one of those videos that will make you cry tears of joy. Here is a quick version of the kick-off video for you to check out!
Once you contribute your pet’s photo to the Long Live Pets website , you will get a great digital overlay (shown above) that you can share with your friends! You can also use it to help spread the word about how perfect shelters pets can be!
If your pet is chosen to be featured in the video, it will be shown on Nat Geo Wild on April 17th! Head over to longlivepets.com right now and join the movement!
*This campaign is now over as of 4/17/15*
