It’s 3am. I’m awake with full body aches, chest congestion, a runny nose and terrible cough. I haven’t been this sick in many years. I suppose I was “due” for such illness. Working from home has kept me safe from typical seasonal colds that most other people get, but this time it hit me…and hard.
Our Goals & Plans for 2018!
It’s a new year, and thank goodness for that. I’m determined to make it better than 2017 by practicing mindfulness, kindness and gratitude. By putting those practices into action everyday, I’m striving to live out a prosperous year. It’ll be a year to remember – I know it! Join Wynston and I as we share our goals and plans for 2018.

Many of you have known me, Amanda, for a long time now. Dog Mom Days has been around since 2013 and I’m incredibly grateful for those of you who have been following us since the beginning! I do realize, however, that most of you may not know a lot about me personally. Of course I have six rescue kids and I live in Arizona, but I thought it’d be fun to share more about me as we head into 2018. Wynston PetSmart Sightings Recap + Giveaway Winner!
For the last two months, all of you having been finding Wynston across the USA (and Canada!) on Christmas advertising in your local PetSmart stores. It’s been amazingly fun to see my boy in SO many cities and states. I enjoyed all of the selfies and excited posts when someone new found Wynston in their store. It never got old! Now that the holidays are over, it’s time for a recap of all the places he was spotted, and I picked our random $25 PetSmart gift card winner 🙂
The Joys & Benefits of Traveling With a Pet
Traveling is an activity that I’ve always enjoyed, but I’ve never been over-the-top excited to go out of my way to do it. It can potentially be expensive, exhausting and stressful. However, 2017 was a tough year for me, and recently I decided I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and expand my horizons. I started doing so by traveling with Wynston – just he and I. Through our experiences, I’ve learned that traveling can take on a whole new dynamic if you bring a companion pet. Traveling with a dog has proven to be mentally and emotionally beneficial not only for me but also for those around me. Here’s what I’ve learned from traveling with Wynston.
