As I’m sitting down to write this recap of our road trip, I don’t even really know where to begin. It was such a whirlwind of chaos, and I’m having a hard time putting it into words in my head, let alone into a blog post. If you don’t already know, Wynston broke his foot the day after we arrived in El Paso, Texas. You can read that entire story here. Although the ordeal cut our “to-do” list short, I still had a wonderful, relaxing time away. While out of town I quickly realized that there was silver lining to Wynston breaking his foot away from home, and it almost made our trip better! Imagine that 🙂
Wynston Broke His Foot
You know when you’re about to go on an adventure with dog and worst case scenarios pop into your head? Like, all those “what ifs” and horror stories that you hear from other pet parents. But, I mean, what are the odds that those things would happen to you while you’re on vacation? Well, get freaking prepared for it.
The other day I created a list of things I needed to travel six hours with Wynston. On that list were names of several nearby emergency vets and vaccination records. I honestly never thought I’d need them, but I gotta be prepared and practice what I preach, right? And let me tell you, it’s a good freaking thing I was prepared because…
Wynston broke his foot.
Introduce Raw to Your Dog’s Diet With Wellness® CORE® RawRev™!
While raw food diets are all the rage, kibble still offers an endless amount of health benefits for dogs. Although feeding raw food to dogs is popular, it can be dangerous if not made properly. I personally don’t have the time, energy or expertise to even attempt to feed my dogs raw, so I want to leave it to the pros. I also prefer feeding my dogs kibble because it has all of the necessary vitamins and nutrients to ensure my dogs are eating a balanced diet. But what if I want the best of both worlds? Wellness® CORE® is now offering RawRev™, a mixture of your dog’s favorite grain-free kibble with 100% raw meat pieces! Wellness CORE RawRev has everything a pet parent could want in a savory meal for our well-deserving pups.
Pining for Payson
Wynston and I leave for our big Southwestern road trip a week from today! But first – we were pining for some relaxation in Payson at my mom’s second home! We enjoyed our time there as usual, and it sure did get us in the road-trippin’ spirit. This was Wynston’s first trip up to Payson since mom adopted Cooper, so check out our wonderful photos and super cute videos.
