I’m crazy about pumpkin treats for my dogs. Pumpkin offers a variety of benefits for dogs’ health, so when I get the chance to use it, I do. I stay stocked up on pure pumpkin since it’s a natural digestive aid for my babies, and one day I came up with this super simple, quick DIY dog treat recipe. This delicious snack only calls for two ingredients and it takes just five minutes to prepare! My favorite DIY dog treat recipes are those which don’t require a lot of work. Although these treats take very little effort to make, your dogs will be sure to enjoy these delectable frozen pumpkin dog treats!
This year has been terrible for me. My stepdad has stage four cancer, which has basically made everything suck. My depression has been up and down, and the sadness in my family has been real. But what’s the one constant in my life that I can always depend on? My animals. My babies are always there for me no matter what. Whether I’m having a horrible day or a rare wonderful day, my dogs and cats love me and show no judgement. Sometimes I feel like a bad mom because my depression gets me down, but my six kids always help me stay afloat. It’s Pet Appreciation Week, so I want to share some ways that you can show your pets appreciation!
As most of you probably know, making homemade dog treats for my pups is one of my favorite activities. I have several DIY dog treat recipes on my blog, but I’ve been inspired by PawCulture™ to create something new! If your dog is having a birthday or there’s a celebration, you can check out Paw Culture’s recipe for a DIY doggie cake. But in the meantime, I’ve created delicious cupcakes (which make my mouth water, if I do say so myself) that my dogs can’t get enough of! These DIY doggie cupcakes are perfect for any type of dog birthday party, get together, event…or just for fun!
Limited ingredient, homemade dog treats are my favorite. I enjoy making them for my dogs, especially when the process doesn’t require much time or effort. I’ve come up with a delicious DIY strawberry frozen yogurt dog treats recipe for you, which only requires three ingredients. Enjoy!
Pumpkin offers many benefits for dogs. I stock up on cans of pure pumpkin in the fall because it can be hard to come by throughout the year (at least in Arizona). Now that I have a hefty stash, I’ve been creating delicious goodies for my dogs to enjoy. I hope you enjoy making these DIY pumpkin spice smoothies for your dogs!
