Can you guys believe it’s already June? Where has this year gone? In Arizona, summer temperatures have been lingering for a while, and it’s rather torturous. Wynston and I will spend our summer traveling, but it seems that we still won’t get much of a reprieve from the heat. When I think “good” summer thoughts, things like beach balls, sand and flip flops come to mind. Our Appreciate the Moments photo for the June “summer” theme just about sums up a picturesque summer day.
Appreciate the Moments: June Photo Challenge
While Wynston and I probably won’t make it to the real beach this summer, we do have access to a relaxing sand area at our community pool! I like going there early in the morning when the kids aren’t out yet, so it’s relaxing and peaceful.
This particular morning we walked over to the pool around 8:30am and it was already around 100°F. That’s Arizona for you…

What a cute photo!
Wynston does look very relaxed there! I think we’d be at the pool a lot if I got up to 100 degrees here! 🙂
Someone is totally enjoying a little bit of sun! What a gorgeous picture!!
Nice spot for some summer snoozing!xx Speedy
That is a great picture of Wynston. He looks like the 100 degree temps dosen’t bother him at all. Thats what happens when you are such a “cool” pup.
Wynston is so handsome on his lounge chair! I love that sandy area you have at your new place, it’s so beachy. You do have to be up at the crack of dawn in those AZ Summers. I miss Phoenix terribly, and especially the dog friendliness of it and our Summer trips to Sedona to escape the heat. We have so few dog friendly places out here on Long Island, I’ve scoured the island to find the few dog friendly gems. We’re planning some fun activities with our dogs this Summer.
