Last night Matt and I decided we’d try something different for our Friday evening out. What better choice is there than to go to a dog event?! I can’t think of any either…so we made our way to Downtown Mesa, AZ for an event called Dog Daze. I had never heard of the event and I don’t spend any time in or near Downtown Mesa, so I thought it’d be fun!
My Lunch Date with a Fellow Pet Blogger
Today I met my friend Kristen for the first time in person. Yes. It’s totally weird…like a creepy online relationship…but better! We met through the BlogPaws online pet blogging community. It’s funny because we’ve both been around BlogPaws for a while now but it wasn’t until I was in our local Ahwautkee Foothills newspaper this spring that we realized we lived close to each other.
Let’s Save Some Lives – Shut Down #PuppyMills!
When I rescued Wynston, he was dying. Starving, abused and clinging to life at just 6 months old, he managed to hang in there long enough for me to save him. Wynston was left to die because “he was ugly and wouldn’t sell” according to his abuser, who is now in prison for her cruelty to 76 dogs. Wynston was born in her puppy mill.
