Today I met my friend Kristen for the first time in person. Yes. It’s totally weird…like a creepy online relationship…but better! We met through the BlogPaws online pet blogging community. It’s funny because we’ve both been around BlogPaws for a while now but it wasn’t until I was in our local Ahwautkee Foothills newspaper this spring that we realized we lived close to each other.
A Day in the Life of Me – A Pet Blogger!
A lot of people think that because I work from home, I don’t work at all. I will say that it’s an absolutely wonderful life – something I always dreamed about. But it’s not all about sleeping in, being lazy and doing nothing all day!
From Nobody to News Story!
On December 19th, 2013, I was standing at my kitchen counter thinking of a short, catchy name for my blog. I never thought that not even two years later, I’d see “Amanda Yantos – Dog Mom Days” on a news story!
My BlogPaws Red Carpet Dress: Which one did I choose?!
I was really excited for today. My mom and I had a shopping date planned to find me the perfect dress that I could dazzle the red carpet in during the BlogPaws conference in Nashville, TN in May. I Am in the Local Newspaper!
I grew up in Ahwatukee, a gorgeous suburb in the southern part of Phoenix, AZ. It’s a safe, close knit community where people tend to raise their families and end up staying because it’s such a wonderful place to live. I went to elementary school, middle school and high school in Ahwatukee, so it was such an honor to be interviewed by the local Ahwatukee Foothills Newspaper about my recent BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose Award nomination!
