I didn’t go to sleep until 3am today. Honestly, I don’t know how I was up so late. I was working, but I only worked until around 1am and then I just couldn’t fall asleep! I think it might have been the hot tea I drank – I forgot about the caffeine! Anyways, Wynston woke me up at 5:30 this morning (yes, 2.5 hours after I went to sleep) which was VERY unusual. He never wakes me up. My herd of animals followed me downstairs as we prepared for our morning breakfast ritual. Well, Wynston didn’t want to eat…
As a dog mom, I’m always looking for dog friendly stores and restaurants that I can frequent with Khloee, Wynston and McKenzie Rae. Every time I take them to a drive-thru the employees typically greet me by saying,”Oh my God your dogs are sooooo cute!” as they hand me some dog treats. Let’s be honest – nothing makes me happier than when companies treat my babies extremely well. In honor of my great experiences, here are some fantastic dog friendly drive-thrus!
April 11th is National Pet Day, so in honor of this fantastic day (although everyday is pet day in my house!) here are some photos of my kids!
Last year I became certified in pet CPR and first aid. I am one handy woman to have around in a crisis with your pet, that’s for sure! Pet CPR is pretty similar to human CPR, but it’s extremely helpful to take a class on it. It’s also nice to have the credentials to back up your skills. Anyone can become certified in pet CPR and I highly recommend it.
A lot of people think that because I work from home, I don’t work at all. I will say that it’s an absolutely wonderful life – something I always dreamed about. But it’s not all about sleeping in, being lazy and doing nothing all day!
