Dog mom life can seem glamorous. Red carpet events, fancy doggy fashion shows, cool adventures, fun photo shoots. It all looks super great on the outside. I suppose it’s kinda like human moms. We see all the photos of adorable smiling faces at the park but what we don’t see is the tantrums, screaming and tears that come later. With that being said, there are many things that dog moms do that we don’t really want to do. We deal with difficulties like human moms, just in a different way. Instead of talking about how fantastic my dog mom life is, I’m going to get real here.
The Benefits of Using a Dog Stroller
I bought my first dog stroller back in 2013. At that time, people still thought dog strollers were kind of silly. “How stupid! Why would you push your dog in a stroller? Your dog is not a kid!” Here we are in 2016 and although some people still think that way, dog strollers have become much more mainstream. Pet parents are starting to realize the advantages of using a dog stroller. They aren’t just for small dogs anymore, and before you go making judgement, hear me out.
Grieving the Loss of a Pet…Three Years Later.
I adopted Edison when he was 8 weeks old in September of 2010. He was the first cat I had on my own. I remember how rambunctious he was. He’d never let me sleep. He always wanted to play. Edison gave me a run for my money, and I’d do anything to have him back. Edison ran away almost three years ago and I’m still not over it. I still cry. I’m still grieving. I pray everyday that God will bring him home to me.
Focus on Life With the Vimtag Security Camera: Review and Giveaway!!
One of the advantages of today’s technological world is that fact that we can literally keep track of everything. Most of us have a smart phone in our pocket, a tablet in our briefcase or a laptop to work on. Whatever the case, we have unlimited access to almost anything we want. I remember when my brother was just a baby – my parents had a baby monitor for him, which consisted of this small walkie-talkie looking device that gave off a lot of static. Now, in 2016, you just buy a camera and watch the live video from your mobile device! As the pet industry grows, so does our need for such devices. There are a ton of security camera products on the market for pet parents to take advantage of, and I was lucky enough to try the Vimtag® security camera. I know that Khloee has separation anxiety so I’ve always been curious as to what she does when Matt and I are both gone (which is rare, and if we’re gone together it’s for a couple hours worth of errands). Vimtag gives me the opportunity to check on my babies while I’m gone, and I’m giving two lucky readers the chance to win a Vimtag of their own!
Add Variety to Your Cat’s Meal with Nature’s Variety Instinct Raw Boost Minis
My dogs will eat anything. If it’s put in front of them, they will eat it. My cats, on the other hand, are super picky. They always have been. Sadie will enjoy licking wet food on occasion, but other than that, she and Joey prefer the same old kibble every single day. I’ve been wanting to add some sort of variation to their meals, so Nature’s Variety Instinct Raw Boost Minis were worth a shot. Turns out, they are a big hit! What’s better?! These minis are all-natural freeze dried bits that add taste and health benefits to my cat’s meals.
