My December Blogging Hiatus: I’m Getting Married!

November 30, 2016 By Amanda 5 Comments

blogging hiatus

A while back I decided that I would take December off of blogging. I’m getting married on 12/29/16 so I want to be able to focus on the wedding and Christmas without any added stress. Blogging isn’t stressful at all, but I don’t want an extra to-do list hanging over my head. My brother is also coming home on leave, which is why Matt and I are having a December wedding in the first place! I want to be able to spend as much time as I can with my baby brother before he walks me down the aisle on my big day.

Although I’ve never taken more than a few days off blogging, I’m actually not anxious about it. I think the break will be good for me. I have big plans for my blogging career in 2017, so I’m hoping to start the year full of energy and motivation! I also hope to have lots of content ready for all of you, including wedding photos!

In December I will not be answering email, or posting any product reviews or giveaways. I won’t be doing any blogging at all. I need the break and now’s the time to do it since I have the best day of my life incoming! I will, however, still be present on social media! I’ll be sharing photos of all my kids throughout the month which include Christmas and the wedding.

I want to thank all of you for being there with me through this three year journey. December marks my blog’s three year anniversary and it’s changed my life! When I see you back here in January I will be Mrs. Genovese! (YAAAAAAY!) Things you can look forward to from me for next year include an e-course on how to become a successful blogger and possibly a children’s book. And most importantly, more great adventures with my dogs (including phenomenal pictures because I finally bought a professional camera)!

Love you all!
