I think most pet parents would agree with me when I say that natural pet products are a must-have! As a dog mom, I am grateful that most of the products I use on a regular basis are organic, made in the USA and free of toxins. Looking for a natural agent to repair your pet’s paws? Tired of flooding your dog’s ears to clean them? Natural Paws offers a natural solution to caring for our pet’s paws, ears and itchy spots.
Natural Paws® Products I Tested
ActivePaws
ActivePaws was created with active dogs in mind. Wynston enjoys agility and all of my dogs enjoy activities such as hiking, so I decided this would be a great product for us to try. I tested it on Wynston first and honestly I wasn’t sure how he’d react becase I’ve never needed to use any type of healing agent on his paws. After spraying his paw pads, he gave it one sniff and moved on his way! Even if Wynston did decide to lick it, it’s safe for dogs to ingest. McKenzie Rae had really rough paws when we rescued her because she was a stray. With help of ActivePaws, McKenzie’s paws have rejuvenated, despite the scorching Arizona heat. ActivePaws is great for agility dogs, working dogs, dogs that like to swim and hike, or dogs with itching/insect bites/cracked paws.
EARoma ThEARapy
Khloee’s ears have always needed some extra attention. Since she has those fluffy poodle ears that fold over, they tend to become little dirt funnels. Khloee strongly dislikes the flooding of her ears with fluid and EARoma ThEARapy gives us an alternative. All you have to do is spray it into the ear, close the ear flap, massage gently and remove any excess debris with a cotton ball. It’s a lot less stressful than typical ear cleanings.
Frisky Paws
I opted to try Frisky Paws because my disabled cat, Joey, has badly cracked pads on his right paw. Both of his front legs and paws are deformed, but his right paw is in much worse shape. Joey seems to ignore his right paw altogether, so it doesn’t get the proper cleaning and care from him that it needs. He doesn’t like me to get near that paw but Frisky Paws allows me to simply spray it without having to make Joey too nervous.

Natural Paws® was founded by Elyse and inspired by her Cocker Spaniel, Sweet Pea. After finding that there weren’t any products on the market for healing run-down, cracked paws, Elyse took it upon herself to create a new business venture. With help of a dear friend (an herbalist, natural product & peptide chemist with an impressive background in zoology and botany) Natural Paws now offers several effective, holistic remedies for our pet’s paws. Natural Paws is made from organic and wild-harvested essential oils and extracts, which are safe for pets to ingest.

I have three rescued Treeing Walker Coonhounds, and if you know hounds and their long, floppy ears, you know that it’s hard to keep their ears clean and infection-free. I’d be most interested in trying their EARoma ThEARapy.
Amanda says
That’s a great choice for your Coonhounds!! Good luck!

Thanks for sharing about this company and its products! I hadn’t heard of them until reading your post! We are constantly dealing with ear issues for Bean so I’m very interested in trying the spray. Hopefully it will help to reduce the number of ear infections she gets!
Amanda says
The EARoma ThEARapy is awesome. Even Poodle doesn’t mind it, which is a HUGE win!

What I love about this product line is the fact that it’s all natural and safe for them to lick off. I have a lot of trouble with paw balms as our old doxie is a little OCD and just wants to lick as soon as I put anything topical on his feet and he has BAD feet and cysts. Thanks for this review!
Amanda says
The owner of the company, Elyse, said the other day that she was at a holistic convention and a HUMAN licked it just to test the theory LOL! Totally lickable 😉

True story! And it was a veterinarian too! She tried everything, I think she liked TenderPaws best. Must have been the lavender.
Elyse says
We made the products absorb so quickly because we didn’t want a mess, we wanted quick relief, and we want the paws to be free to sweat, not be clogged up with balms. TenderPaws has been used successfully for interdigital cysts, so if you’re dealing with those, that would be good to try too.
