After one official day of moving and three unofficial days of moving, we’re finally settled into our new home!
Our (Un)eventful 4th of July
Living in Arizona in July is like living in a hair dryer that never turns off. Although I prefer the dry heat over humidity, it doesn’t mean that 115 degrees isn’t miserable. Growing up in the Midwest, the 4th of July was a big celebration. I remember having huge barbecues with all of the neighbors and setting off fireworks all night. Well, in Arizona, the only way you’re barbecuing is if you’re taking a dip in the pool every 5 minutes.
Welcoming Dogs Into Your 4th of July Celebration
Ah, the 4th of July. A time where families and friends get together to barbecue, swim, set off fireworks and have one beer too many. Oh yes, and let’s not forget the fact that it’s America’s birthday! I’m one of those people who first and foremost recognizes that the 4th of July is our Independence Day (I was a history major, after all!). Well this year when you’re getting set to have a fantastic day off work, remember to include your pups and be weary of their safety. Here are some safety tips for letting your dogs in on your Independence Day celebration.
