I’d be willing to bet that most pet parents have unused pet items laying around. Whether it’s food, toys, blankets or beds, you probably have something that would be better suited in the hands of a different person or animal! I enjoy de-cluttering my home, and a few times a year I do a major pet product purge. So if you have stood there asking yourself the question “what can I do with unused pet items?” I have some suggestions for you.
Animal shelters need help year round. Whether it’s with adoptions, volunteering or donations, it’s always a good time to assist rescues. August 20, 2017 is National Homeless Animal Day, so let’s discuss some ways that you can be a big help to the homeless animals in your area and around the world.
I have been involved in animal rescue for over 8 years now. Volunteering, fostering, donation coordination – I’ve done it all. My passion is for rescue animals and the rights of those who can’t speak. I preach the phrase “adopt, don’t shop” because shelters are overcrowded and irresponsible breeding is running rampant. All of my animals are rescues, and it will always be that way.
