As I am turning the BIG 30 on July 22nd and Wynston is turning 7 on September 11th, I’ve decided to be selfless in celebration. Instead of throwing a party for either of us or asking for gifts, I’m raising money for Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA – Arizona’s oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter. Not only will the funds go to saving animals, but if you donate $20 or more, you will receive custom paw print art from Wynston!
Meet Our New Family Member, Cooper!
Would you believe that my mom has never owned a dog in her adult life? Well, I’ve been wanting my mom to adopt a furry friend for years now and she finally did it. Granted, she had great reasons for not adopting a dog in recent years (which I wish more people would consider) – she was too busy with school and work, and my stepdad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Recently, however, we got good news on my stepdad and things are looking up. So when I tagged my mom in a post on the Arizona Animal Welfare League Facebook page, I hardly expected her to take it seriously. Then less than 24 hours later, my mom became a dog mom to the adorable Cooper. Allow me to introduce you to this super cute little muffin!
Meet Boggs: Our AAWL & SPCA Adoptable Cat of the Month!
Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA (AAWL) is the largest and oldest no-kill shelter in Arizona. This year I am making it my mission to become more involved in their cause, as I’ve been an avid AAWL supporter for years. Now I want to take my support a step further, and to do that I am sponsoring an adoptable dog and cat each month! Without further adieu, meet our January AAWL adoptable cat of the month: Boggs! This bobtail beauty is sure to win your heart over!
