Despite not being able to throw a party or travel this year for Wynston’s 8th birthday, I decided to do something that would involve ALL of our followers – a Facebook Live event! Honestly, it worked out better than I anticipated. Since the turn out was good and the response was phenomenal, I think we may do more events like this in the future. But anyways, Wynston had an excellent 8th birthday, and even with everything we’re going through, I managed to enjoy a day of peace among chaos.
It’s My 30th Birthday: Me & Wynston Throughout the Years
Today is my 30th birthday. Many people dread 30, but the upcoming decade excites me. I’m at a good time in my life and I see never ending possibilities ahead of me. As I reflect on my 20s, my best memories include my evolving relationship with Wynston. He changed my life and brought me to where I am at now being 30. This blog post is simply a montage of our memories together, as I look forward to our future.
Happy Birthday Joey & Khloee!
There are three important birthdays in our house during the month of June! Khloee’s birthday is on the 1st, Joey’s is the 10th, and Matt’s is the 25th! Let’s be honest – the real celebrations are for Khloee and Joey 😉 If Khloee and Joey were people, they’d be the “I really don’t need a birthday party or any sort of celebration for that matter…” people. So instead, here’s a birthday post for my babies!
Throwin’ It Back & Bringin’ It Back for my 28th Birthday!
I just bought a Lisa Frank trapper keeper. If you were a girl growing up in the 90s, or you had kids in the 90s, you are familiar with Lisa Frank. Her bright colored designs exist in so many of my best childhood memories. Trading beads with my friends, writing in my trapper keeper, checking out Toys R’ Us for the latest products… When I think of Lisa Frank all that comes to mind is happiness. Why is this relevant to anything whatsoever? Well, I just turned 28 and I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on my past as of late after purchasing our home. I’m in a better place in my life at 28 years old than I ever thought I’d be. So damn it, I spent $82 on a Lisa Frank trapper keeper.
