Pet dental health is too commonly ignored by many pet parents. Most don’t understand how important it is to keep our pet’s teeth clean until their dog or cat ends up at the vet with periodontal disease. Then the big shock – thousands of dollars worth of vet bills come piling in. It’s safe to say that it’s fairly easy to prevent such circumstances by keeping up on your pet’s dental health. The best way I’ve found to do this? Daily dental chews. I admit that I need to get better at brushing my dog’s teeth but I give my dogs a daily dental treat to assist in preventative care. This February, we’re celebrating #PetDentalHealthMonth with Greenies!

We all know how important pet dental health is. Did you know that 8 out of 10 dogs over the age of three have dental or gum disease? In order to avoid costly dental procedures in the future, it’s necessary to be proactive about your dog’s dental health. I personally know how difficult it can be to brush your dog’s teeth, and while it is important to do so, dental chews are a great product for your canine companion to maintain healthy teeth and gums!
