I never travel without Wynston. He’s always by my side, and in the future I have plans to be traveling with him full time. For now I’m currently living in Arizona where I’m used to having constant access to dog-friendly businesses such as stores, restaurants, parks or popular tourist attractions. In your local area you may know which places welcome dogs and which don’t, but what about when you travel? I’ve learned first hand how to seek out dog-friendly establishments wherever I’m at. I won’t leave Wynston behind at a hotel, so I take him everywhere. Now I’ve come up with a helpful list of 6 ways to find dog-friendly places when you travel.
Wynston’s NEW Bucket List!
Several years back I created a bucket list for Wynston. At that time I obviously couldn’t foresee the future, but now we’ve completed all but ONE item on that list. I figured it’s time for a fresh bucket list, especially considering Wynston has at least a decade of life left!
Dog-Friendly Stores and Restaurants
Recently I was talking to one of my neighbors as we ran into each other while walking our dogs. We were gabbing about how beautiful the weather is but that it’s been unusually hot lately. The topic of Arizona summers came up and we discussed how it’s nearly impossible to walk our dogs when it’s 115°. It’s just WAY too hot for ourselves and our dogs. That brought us to talking about dog-friendly stores because it’s nice to be able to walk our dogs around air conditioned places. With that being said, here is a list of dog friendly stores and restaurants, although there may be others in your area that aren’t on the list.
