For some it may seem a bit early to think about the holidays, but let’s face it – November is here and time is going FLY by. With Thanksgiving looming just weeks in front of us, it’s time to start holiday planning. My Christmas decor is already up (and I’m proud) because I like to enjoy it before the hustle and bustle of the season commences. With that being said, I want to make Christmastime a little less stressful for you so you can truly enjoy it like I do. This year I’m introducing the 12 Days of Holiday Planning for Pet Parents. In this blog series I will help you get your ducks in a row when it comes to celebrating this time of year with your pets.
Just days after Wynston’s attack, we headed to Tempe Beach Park for the annual AAWL & SPCA Walk to Save Animals. Although Wynston was confined to the stroller, he didn’t mind! We enjoyed a day of sunshine and doggos alongside my mom and her dog, Cooper. The weather was perfect and the event was a blast as usual! Wynston even got blessed 🙂
I consider myself to be a grateful person. I practice gratitude everyday, and I’m incredibly thankful for everything I’ve been blessed with. Now that we’ve hit November, Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and I want to share something I’m especially grateful for this year – and that’s YOU! My five year blog anniversary is in December, but I decided to celebrate a little early with a November Gratitude Basket Giveaway. I’m giving away a dog toy box full of pet products worth $175 to one lucky winner! This is my way of saying ‘thank you’ for sticking with Wynston and I through this journey.
Halloween can potentially be a very dangerous holiday for pets. Between chocolate candies, constant doorbell ringing and satanic rituals with pit bulls and black cats, it’s important that we know how to protect our pets during the Halloween season. Both cats and dogs can be affected by the traditions of this spooky day, and I’ve put together a valuable list of Halloween safety tips for pets that you’ll want to consider this year and moving forward.
