If you have pets, your home most likely has inevitable odors lingering around. I keep my home and cat’s litter boxes clean at all times, but sometimes no matter what you do as a pet parent, you’ll get a whiff of stinky pet odor. I love candles to give my house a fresh or seasonal scent, but simply masking odors isn’t always the answer. David Oreck Candle Co. now offers Pet Odor Eliminating Candles to not only rid your home of odors, but also leave your cozy abode smelling fresh and natural. These candles are perfect for any day and any season, and I’m giving away set of three pet odor eliminating candles to one lucky winner!
Wynston’s First Kayaking Adventure!
In the last week Wynston has gone boating and kayaking for the first time! My mom and I rented a paddle boat on a whim in Payson, and that’s where I found out that I can rent a kayak also! As I discussed in the post about Wynston’s boating adventure, I’ve been really wanting to get out and discover more of what the world has to offer Wyn and I. So today we drove up to Payson to rent a kayak. And let me tell you – it’s my new favorite activity!
Dog Mom Must-Haves from Amazon
I think everyone enjoys shopping on Amazon.com to some extent. Whatever you need, Amazon has it, amirite?! The popular website has become a go-to place for me when I need a pet item. Typically the prices are cheaper than most stores and websites (but be sure to compare), and it’s an easy ordering process. Recently I found myself giving product suggestions to a fellow pet parent and I realized just how much I rely on Amazon to send me what I need for my dog mom life. So in this post I share with you my dog mom must-haves from Amazon.
Wynston’s First Boating Adventure in Payson, AZ
This summer I’ve been especially struggling with the Arizona heat. Maybe it’s because I’m older or maybe it’s because I want to be more active outdoors. Whatever the case is, the brutal Arizona summer has been keeping me indoors and causing major cabin fever. As of this last week I hadn’t traveled anywhere with Wynston for a month and a half so I felt the dire need to get out of the house. Since my mom has a home in Payson, AZ (northern Arizona) I figured it’d be the perfect getaway for a few days. We could escape the heat, get out of the house and potentially explore. I wanted to take Wynston on a new mountainous adventure because I’ve been craving time in the great outdoors, and turns out we had a lot more fun than we anticipated!
Why Chihuahuas Are Incredible Dogs
I absolutely despise the bad rap that Chihuahuas get. “They are dumb, mean, loud, ankle biters who are good for punting.” The negativity behind the breed name truly breaks my heart. I, too, was uneducated about Chihuahuas before I rescued Wynston but he’s taught me how amazing chihuahuas really are. In fact, a Chihuahua is a perfect breed for me, and I think it’s a great breed for anyone willing to give them a chance. Chihuahuas are the 2nd most euthanized breed of dog in the United States. I want to help change that. I’ve written a post about negative Chihuahua stereotypes, and now I want to focus on the positive side of things – why Chihuahuas are incredible dogs.
