There’s no better time to make some homemade frozen dog treats than the summer! In Arizona we have to stay indoors during summertime unless we’re in a pool. The heat is just way too extreme. But a fun (and cool) activity that I enjoy is making DIY frozen dog treats! Check out these super simple recipes I’ve created. I bet they will be a hit with your dogs during the summer months.
Gosh, it’s been TOO long since I’ve come up with a new homemade dog treats recipe. Since Cinco De Mayo is right around the corner I wanted to make something fun and festive! While I am also in the process of trying out Hemp My Pet products for Wynston, I figured I’d include the hemp infused coconut oil in this recipe. These simple dog treats can be made with ingredients you already have in your kitchen, and they’re perfect for any fiesta. Wynston thinks they are delicious 😉 Enjoy!
My most popular treat recipe, DIY doggy cupcakes, inspired me to create a different mini version. I was prompted to do so because all three of my dogs are 15lbs or less, so I have to cut the regular size cupcakes. Mini cupcakes are a great option for small dogs but also for bigger dogs who don’t necessarily need a large treat. I made these delicious DIY mini doggy cupcakes themed for Christmas, but you can change it up for any holiday or celebration. Enjoy!
Some of my post popular DIY dog treat recipes include pumpkin. Pure pumpkin offers our dogs a variety of health benefits, so it doesn’t surprise me that many pet parents seek out treats that use this delicious gourd. Every fall season I get asked for my best pumpkin related dog treat recipes, and I finally decided to put them all in one place! Presenting my homemade pumpkin dog treats round up!
My DIY recipe for doggy cupcakes has been a huge hit with all of you. I wanted to create something similar, but this time more of an everyday recipe as opposed to something for a special occasion. I came up with a simple recipe (you know how much I like easy crafts) for apple cinnamon muffins for dogs, which fit the bill perfectly. While these muffins are a delicious dog treat for any day of the year, they especially resonate during the fall months. Whip together this cozy snack in just 10 minutes, and watch your pups enjoy!
