Not only have I become passionate about traveling with Wynston, but I’ve taken a particular interest in how to travel on a budget. Part of traveling with your dog on a budget includes bringing your own snacks. When you pack your own food, you save money and generally eat healthier. So grab a cooler and pack these snacks to share with your dog on a road trip!
Our Stay at the Pet-Friendly Amara Resort & Spa in Sedona, AZ
Last week I lost my job. Crappy, right?! Meh, not really. Lack of training sure does make a job difficult! I almost have a sense of relief, and now I can focus on my blog again! I’m going to enjoy my time by going on more adventures with Wynston. To celebrate life, I decided to head up north to Sedona, AZ for a couple days to take advantage of the cooler temperatures. On the IHG website (I always stay at IHG hotels) I found the Kimpton Amara Resort & Spa in Sedona. What got me was their pet policy: “At every Kimpton boutique hotel, we invite you to bring your furry, feathery or scaly family member — no matter their size, weight, or breed, all at no extra charge. Wynston’s First Southwestern Road Trip!
As I’m sitting down to write this recap of our road trip, I don’t even really know where to begin. It was such a whirlwind of chaos, and I’m having a hard time putting it into words in my head, let alone into a blog post. If you don’t already know, Wynston broke his foot the day after we arrived in El Paso, Texas. You can read that entire story here. Although the ordeal cut our “to-do” list short, I still had a wonderful, relaxing time away. While out of town I quickly realized that there was silver lining to Wynston breaking his foot away from home, and it almost made our trip better! Imagine that 🙂
