Welcome to Dog Mom Days!
Hi everyone! My name is Amanda and I am a Millennial dog mom and pet blogger! I started blogging in 2013 and have been a full time pet blogger since Fall 2014. I am the mom to four amazing rescue animals – Joey, Sadie, Wynston, and Leila. Animals are truly my life and I dedicate myself to giving them a voice. I’ve been involved in animal rescue for a decade!
Initially I started Dog Mom Days as a way to share my journey with Wynston, my rescue Chihuahua. While my blog was simply a hobby, I enjoyed it SO much that eventually I made a career out of blogging. Now I continue to share my days as a dog mom, as well as give my readers great information that is helpful for pet parenthood.
In the blogosphere, I have an affinity for helping new bloggers get started. When I created Dog Mom Days I had no idea what I was doing. With help from the BlogPaws community, I learned very quickly (and I fully admit that I’m still learning everyday)! Despite a few skeptical opinions on my new love for blogging when I started in 2013, I was able to branch out and make a career out of pet blogging by the end of 2014. I believe that anyone can blog and be successful at it if they have the right tools, work ethic and enthusiasm! My dedication has gotten me to major events such as the Purina Better With Pets Summit in NYC, Purina Incredible Dog Challenge and BlogPaws 2015/16.
I am now a creative writer for Petco, I’ve written for Chewy.com and I also write for small pet brands and websites.
