I’ve had a really stressful last couple of weeks, but I experienced a reprieve when I received a text from my mom on Sunday night. The text read, “I know you’re super sad about Leila, but I wanted you to see these pictures. So proud of you!!.” (A post about my cat Leila is incoming.) Before the photos downloaded, I was wondering what the heck my mom was talking about. Then they loaded and it took me a second to process what I was looking at, but there I was! Front and center of the business section in the Arizona Republic!
Dog Mom Days in the Arizona Republic
The feature is titled Self-Starters in Arizona Business. The article highlights top Millennial entrepreneurs in the valley who are emerging as leaders in their fields. This includes yours truly 😉 I didn’t know I was going to be in the newspaper, featured with other incredible business owners, so this was a wonderful surprise. There is also a little blurb about me and Dog Mom Days, LLC:
“Yantos is the owner of Dog Mom Days LLC, a popular pet blog in the Valley. Founded in 2013, the company inspires pet parents to live modern, meaningful lives. Yantos’ blog has been featured in several local news outlets such as “Valley Lifestyles” magazine and the East Valley Tribune. Amanda, who is involved in animal rescue in the greater Phoenix area, also speaks at conferences on how to grow your own blogging business.”
It’s an amazing honor to be listed among other brilliant Millennial minds. I’m not really sure I deserve it, but hey, I’ll take it! I have worked hard to get to where I’m at, so a little recognition from time to time is nice. And if it makes my mom happy, I’m all for it!
Of course I wouldn’t be here without you, my readers! A blogger becomes successful only when she is reaching her audience in a unique, trustworthy manner. I hope I’ve helped you with some helpful dog information like you’ve helped me make my dreams come true.
