I consider myself to be a grateful person. I practice gratitude everyday, and I’m incredibly thankful for everything I’ve been blessed with. Now that we’ve hit November, Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and I want to share something I’m especially grateful for this year – and that’s YOU! My five year blog anniversary is in December, but I decided to celebrate a little early with a November Gratitude Basket Giveaway. I am seriously grateful for my family’s health. My husband and I are both cancer survivors, renal and both the left kidney. He says it means we are soul mates. Also this very day last year my husband was sitting in the hospital and was told he had lung cancer. Thankfully, he in fact does not have lung cancer, he had blood clots in both lungs. It probably happened because he did not listen to me and see the dr for a bad cough which was walking pneumonia. I am grateful we are both cancer free and our children are healthy.
I am grateful for my animals. I shelter elderly rescue cats. I also tend to some feral colonies. I am just glad that I am in a position to help them.

I’m grateful for the love and companionship my pets share with me. Also the joy they bring me with their shenanigans. My cat, Kevin, tearing around the house with his toys, my other cat, Neko, meowing crazily while bringing me her corn toy, and my Chihuahua, Bambi, starting at the rice cooker until the rice is done. They make me so happy.
