After two years of modeling for PetSmart, Wynston finally appeared on store advertising in November 2016! Although I had seen him online and in the PetSmart Black Friday ad, nothing was quite as exciting as seeing him in the store. Turns out, Wyn is gracing us with his presence again this year in PetSmart retail locations in North America. So far he’s been spotted in two countries and over a dozen states, but I want to see how far he truly reaches! I’m giving everyone who sees Wynston in their local PetSmart store a chance to win a $25 gift card because it’s like “Where’s Waldo?” fun, except BETTER!
Animal shelters need help year round. Whether it’s with adoptions, volunteering or donations, it’s always a good time to assist rescues. August 20, 2017 is National Homeless Animal Day, so let’s discuss some ways that you can be a big help to the homeless animals in your area and around the world.
Around the US, school aged kids are getting back to the learning grind. In Arizona, year round schools are already back in session (yay for quieter shopping during the day!). For a lot of households, dogs and cats are having to get used to the kids being out of the house all day once more, which can sometimes be a difficult transition. So why not make it a fun, learning experience for our dogs? I personally don’t have children, but I’m using this time to get back to the basics. It’s back to school for dogs; let’s touch on training and tasks you can do with your dogs to signify a new school year. Pups need school supplies too, so enter to win three super fun school themed toys!
Every 3 minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with blood cancer like leukemia or lymphoma. This is a startling statistic, and it can affect anyone. For many blood cancer patients, a bone marrow transplant is the only hope for survival. Dog Mom Days has partnered with Team DKMS, and I’m offering a great giveaway for anyone willing to assist in this fundraiser!
This year has been terrible for me. My stepdad has stage four cancer, which has basically made everything suck. My depression has been up and down, and the sadness in my family has been real. But what’s the one constant in my life that I can always depend on? My animals. My babies are always there for me no matter what. Whether I’m having a horrible day or a rare wonderful day, my dogs and cats love me and show no judgement. Sometimes I feel like a bad mom because my depression gets me down, but my six kids always help me stay afloat. It’s Pet Appreciation Week, so I want to share some ways that you can show your pets appreciation!
