I cannot believe another Easter is behind us already. Where is this year going?! We had a relaxing Easter this year, as Matt and I spent it at home with our dogs – which I was perfectly okay with! We had a super fun doggy Easter egg hunt in our backyard, and of course Wynston, Khloee and McKenzie Rae got to open their Easter baskets. Although it was mostly a “normal” day, it was still a fantastic one! Enjoy these photos of our fun day with the kids.
I rescued Wynston in February 2012. He was about 2.5lbs of skin and bones. Wynston was deteriorating from neglect and abuse, but little did he know what type of life he’d come to live.
I remember having some toys for Wynston when I first brought him home, but my fondest memory was going to PetSmart a few weeks after rescuing him to pick up some extra goodies. “Easter” became part of our family that night!
“Easter” is Wynston’s oldest and most favorite toy. I bought it for him from PetSmart in March 2012, just weeks after I rescued him. That means Easter is almost as old as Wynston! “Easter” is still in great shape and it brings Wynston much happiness and comfort 🙂
Does your dog have a favorite toy?
