Most of you know by now that I love PetSmart®. I buy all of my pet supplies there, which includes treats, toys and of course food for my dogs and cats. It’s also well known that Wynston is a model for PetSmart, so you could say that I hold a bit of a bias. Although I frequently rant and rave about PetSmart, it isn’t just because they are a great store and my dog models for them. PetSmart is always working to make the lives of pet better, whether it’s your pet or another animal in need. For their 30th anniversary, PetSmart just announced their biggest philanthropic program ever. They hope to contribute more than 60 million meals with the Buy A Bag, Give A Meal™ campaign.
Our Doggie Sleepover With Aina the Pom
We haven’t had another dog stay with us since we adopted McKenzie Rae in November 2015. McKenzie was working through a lot of fear issues for a while so if the opportunity presented itself to watch a dog overnight at our home, we declined. Now that our girl is more versed in the ways of the world and we have a much bigger house, we can once again open our doors to more dogs. When Matt’s friend texted him one evening to see if we could take his Pomeranian, Aina (pronounced “eye-nuh”), for about 24 hours, we briefly discussed it and agreed. Of course we asked if she was good with dogs and cats, and she is. A couple of hours later, this little ball of fluff was walking through my front door and I fell in love.

In fact, if your pets aren’t on a routine it can cause serious anxiety and stress. Not sure how to go about setting a schedule for your dog or cat?
