If you are reading this post, I’m sure you’d agree that pets make our lives bigger and better. This year’s Purina Better With Pets Summit once again took place in Brooklyn, NY. The theme was “Living Big.” I walked away from the event feeling motivated, inspired and more educated on how I can nurture the bonds I have with my pets so we can all live a bigger life together. In fact, I was SO inspired that I finally realized what I want to pursue my Master’s degree in – animal nutrition. I have an incredible amount of information that I want to share from the summit. This post will be a recap, and I plan to write more specific posts on topics that left a massive impression on me.

October marks the continuation of Arizona pet events, as the weather finally begins to cool down! It’s starting to feel like fall, and we can actually get outside to enjoy more time with our dogs. Here’s a list of upcoming Arizona pet events for fall and winter 2016.
The bObsweep PetHair: A New Housework Helper for Pet Parents
The new house that Matt and I bought is 2700 square feet of wood floors. I didn’t want carpet anymore, and I got what I asked for! What I also got was daily floor cleaning. I love my wood floors but I don’t love cleaning them everyday, especially with a bad hip. When I was presented with the opportunity to review the bObsweep® PetHair™ robo-vacuum, I jumped on it! A device that will help me with the cleaning on its own? Count me in!
Recipe: DIY Pumpkin Spice Smoothies For Dogs
Pumpkin offers many benefits for dogs. I stock up on cans of pure pumpkin in the fall because it can be hard to come by throughout the year (at least in Arizona). Now that I have a hefty stash, I’ve been creating delicious goodies for my dogs to enjoy. I hope you enjoy making these DIY pumpkin spice smoothies for your dogs!
The Dog Mom Days 3 Year Facebook Anniversary & Giveaway!
Once upon a time I had this idea – this silly little idea to create a Facebook page for my dog. After all, it was the thing to do! Who would have known that within three years my Facebook page for Wynston would grow to 10,000 people strong and lead to my blog’s inception?! Now I want to say ‘thank you’ to all of you for your support.
