The 2018 Phoenix Lexus Pet Safety event was the first time in my five year blogging career that I got to bring two of my loves – cars and dogs – together for one amazing cause. Presented by A Girl’s Guide to Cars, this special event was hosted at Earnhardt Lexus to teach pet parents about car safety for dogs and cats. In attendance to teach us all about proper pet restraint in vehicles were two incredible representatives from Sleepypod! I was truly in my element, as not only do I enjoy focusing on traveling with Wynston, but my passion for cars stems from when I was a child. I just wish I could attend the next event 😉 It was too much fun for Wynston and I! I hope you’ll enjoy my photos and some interesting facts that I learned.
You all know that traveling with Wynston is my favorite hobby! Whether I’m heading out on the road or sky, I always have Wynston in tow. Traveling is much more fun with a canine companion! Something that I preach when traveling with my boy is safety, especially in the car. I’ve written several blog posts about traveling with dogs, but now we get to be a part of a first hand pet travel safety event at Earnhardt Lexus! The best part? You have the opportunity to join us, Sleepypod and A Girl’s Guide to Cars at the Earnhardt Lexus dealership on December 1, 2018 to learn more about the importance of pet travel safety. Plus, enter to win an amazing Sleepypod prize package!
Just days after Wynston’s attack, we headed to Tempe Beach Park for the annual AAWL & SPCA Walk to Save Animals. Although Wynston was confined to the stroller, he didn’t mind! We enjoyed a day of sunshine and doggos alongside my mom and her dog, Cooper. The weather was perfect and the event was a blast as usual! Wynston even got blessed 🙂
I’ve been attending pet events with dogs for many years. It’s absolutely one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy pet events because I’m surrounded by other like-minded individuals who are all there for the love of pets. I’ve learned a lot throughout my years of visiting pet events with different dogs, and I’d like to share with you my tips for preparing to attend a pet event with your dog.
Fall is the busiest season for pet events in Arizona. The weather is finally nice enough for people and dogs to enjoy the outdoors, and all the fun holidays are happening! You can bet we’ll be at several pet events this fall and winter season. Here is a list of fall 2018 Arizona pet events.
