The 2018 Phoenix Lexus Pet Safety event was the first time in my five year blogging career that I got to bring two of my loves – cars and dogs – together for one amazing cause. Presented by A Girl’s Guide to Cars, this special event was hosted at Earnhardt Lexus to teach pet parents about car safety for dogs and cats. In attendance to teach us all about proper pet restraint in vehicles were two incredible representatives from Sleepypod! I was truly in my element, as not only do I enjoy focusing on traveling with Wynston, but my passion for cars stems from when I was a child. I just wish I could attend the next event 😉 It was too much fun for Wynston and I! I hope you’ll enjoy my photos and some interesting facts that I learned.
Meet Wynston at Strut Your Mutt!
Best Friends Animal Society is the nation’s largest non-profit sanctuary for homeless animals. Through kindness toward animals, their mission is to bring about a world where there are no more homeless pets. Aside from the incredible abundance of work that Best Friends Animal Society does at the sanctuary in Utah, the organization also puts on events nationwide to raise money for the cause. One of these fun, well-known events is Strut Your Mutt. I’m super excited to announce that this year Wynston will be a “celebrity dog” at the Strut Your Mutt walk in Phoenix, AZ, and you can come meet him!
6 Ways to Enjoy Labor Day With Your Dog
I don’t celebrate any holidays without my dogs. Quite frankly, if my dogs aren’t invited, count me out! My dogs are my kids, so why would I leave them home?! Anyways, I like to host a lot of holidays and get-togethers at my house because dogs are always welcome. Many people enjoy a 3-day weekend for Labor Day, so I’ve put together a list of how you can enjoy Labor Day with your dog!
We’ve Arrived at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass for #BlogPaws!
I seriously cannot believe that the time has come for BlogPaws 2016! I feel like I was just in Nashville for the 2015 conference! This year were very lucky to be able to check into the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass one day early. This has allowed us to get settled into the hotel with no stress. We got to walk around, order room service and see some of our friends already!
I’m buying a #BlogPaws ticket, but what exactly am I paying for?
The BlogPaws conference was the first “real” conference that I had ever attended. Before BlogPaws I never thought a conference could be so fun and life changing. Those concepts just didn’t go together for me. Let’s be real – those “life changing” conferences can cost upwards of $500-$1000 to attend. These big events are very expensive to put on, so it makes sense that tickets are a bit of the hefty side. However, a BlogPaws ticket only makes a slight dent in your wallet at a fraction of the mainstream conference price (check out specifics here). It’s a very small price considering how much the BlogPaws conference has to offer. Let me break it down for you.
