Humanely Farmed Tender & True Premium Dog and Cat Food + Giveaway!
Being smack dab in the middle of the Millennial generation, I’m surrounded by pet parents who want what’s best for their beloved animals. Luckily premium pet foods are mainstream and easily available to the general public. But what is also becoming mainstream is the treatment of all animals, not just our domesticated pals. As a society we are more aware of where our planet is headed, so sustainably sourced materials are more common. Since humans are focusing on better food choices, we are translating that focus to our pets. Tender & True pet food is an excellent premium pet food choice if you’re looking for a natural, nutritious and humanely farmed option.

NOse Offense, but you NEED this odor eliminator!
If you have a pet, you’ve inevitably dealt with an accident of some sort in your home. Whether it be urine, vomit or something in between, these messes are no fun to clean up. What’s worse than getting stains out of carpets and fabrics is the odor that pet accidents can leave behind. Recently we were potty training McKenzie Rae because even though she’s two years old, she lived on the streets up until we rescued her. Needless to say, McKenzie felt that it was appropriate to do her business wherever she wanted. With lots of positive reinforcement, McKenzie Rae is now potty trained, but that doesn’t fix the problem stench which was left behind in one particular corner of the house. NOse Offense has come to the rescue in eliminating those odors.
Saving in More Ways Than One with #NaturesRecipe!
In late November 2015, Matt and I rescued McKenzie Rae from the euthanasia list at our local shelter. She had been a stray (we’re guessing for her whole life) and she wasn’t accustomed to eating dog food. Well, a few weeks later she became extremely ill. Honestly I thought we were going to lose McKenzie Rae, as her immune system is weak and she’s underweight. My vet suggested feeding her puppy food so she can get the protein and vitamins she missed out on while growing up. I’m not going to feed McKenzie puppy food forever, but what food can I get in the meantime that won’t break the bank yet is nutritious for my girl? Nature’s Recipe®!
