Can you guys believe it’s already June? Where has this year gone? In Arizona, summer temperatures have been lingering for a while, and it’s rather torturous. Wynston and I will spend our summer traveling, but it seems that we still won’t get much of a reprieve from the heat. When I think “good” summer thoughts, things like beach balls, sand and flip flops come to mind. Our Appreciate the Moments photo for the June “summer” theme just about sums up a picturesque summer day.
Surviving in the Sweltering Arizona Heat
It’s hot outside. And I mean really hot. None of this 90 degree stuff – I’m talking 117 during the day and 100 at night. It’s brutal. Did you know that Arizona shuts down airports at 117 degrees because it’s not safe to get airplanes off the ground? Yeah, it’s that bad. Luckily the temperatures are supposed to drop to around 102 next week. YAY!
Welcoming Dogs Into Your 4th of July Celebration

Here are some safety tips for letting your dogs in on your Independence Day celebration.
