I graduated from Arizona State University in May 2011. I was 22 years old. Needless to say, I was pretty proud of myself! A Bachelor’s degree already at the age of 22 and I now had my entire life ahead of me. But I also needed a job. That was fine with me – I was ready to start making money instead of spending it on student loans. The problem? I couldn’t get a job in my field of study, which was history and culture. I went to school to be a high school history teacher but by the time I was ready to graduate with my Bachelor’s, I still needed to get certified as a teacher. Forget it. I started applying for jobs. On August 1, 2011, I started a job as a banker. Little did I know, it was the beginning of a miserable career that would turn into a dream come true.
Wynston’s Resume Keeps Expanding!
I have to say, Wynston’s resume is quite impressive. Now, it’s not as impressive as some of my other friends’ dogs, but I’m VERY proud of Wynston for doing everything he does. I couldn’t be happier with how far he’s come. He makes me one proud mom.

My Life Revolves Around My Dog. Literally.
Whenever I talk to people about Wynston, I like to joke and say “My life totally revolves around him!” But gosh, this week it really hit me that my life truly does revolve around him. It’s not just a joke anymore – this is serious business! I’m like a pageant mom…but better.

Recap: Club Doggie May Intro Trial Day 2
We made it through our third agility trial! As usual, it was so much fun. Sunday night we ran our jumpers course. It’s funny because for our gamblers run Wynston was the first dog to run and for jumpers we ran very last. Wynston had already won 1st place in gamblers so whatever happened with jumpers, we would be happy!
