So, let’s recap. January has been flippin’ nuts. My brother came home on leave from the Army, Matt and I got engaged, we booked our wedding venue, I attended the bridal expo and bought my dress, I had some dental work done, we bought a new SUV and I announced my BlogPaws Ambassador & Speaker news. After an insanely crazy last week of January, I decided I deserved a day of fun! Since Matt and I just bought a brand new Subaru Forester, we decided to head up north to Payson, AZ for a day of hiking with the pups! Our destination: Monument Peak Loop Trail.
Protecting Your Dog from the Demons of the Desert
Desert living is unlike anything else in the country. It’s hot, dry and full of critters that don’t typically hang out in a majority of the US. Many people will be traveling with their pets for BlogPaws 2016 in Phoenix, AZ so it’s important to know what could be lurking around the desert landscape. Here are some tips for protecting your dog from the demons in the desert!

Recap: Woofstock 2015
This is the third year we’ve gone to the annual Woofstock event in Chandler, AZ. It’s funny because in 2013, it was freezing with an intense wind. Last year it was hot. Today was perfect, around 70° and sunny! It was a wonderful morning to be outside with the dogs.
The 2015 AAWL Walk to Save Animals
I have attended the annual Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) Walk to Save Animals for several years now. This is the third year Matt and I have gone together and the second year Khloee has come along. It’s always a wonderful event full of vendors, adoptions, free samples and a 2k or 5k walk! This year the weather was perfect and the event was a huge success.
